From the moment Alfie Brown saw Sophia Cross, he knew without a shadow of a doubt that she was meant for him. She is perfect, beautiful, and he wants to own, to possess every single one of her curves. All he has to do is make sure they meet, and then he can get her to fall in love with him. Simple enough, and he is a man who always gets what he wants.
Sophia just can’t make a decision that could affect the rest of her life. All people want her to do is pick a subject, pick a career, and then live with it for the next fifty years—but the next fifty years is a long time.
Still, when her friend begs her to go for an interview at Brown Enterprise, Sophia can’t say no. Though it is the worst interview of her life, she gets the job, much to her surprise. And her boss, Alfie, is unlike any man she has ever known. His skills draw her out, and she comes alive. She can’t say no to him. He surrounds her, makes her feel things that she really didn’t think she could.
But how will she feel when she discovers the truth of how he planned everything, from their meeting to her job?
Warning: This book has a hero that is straight out of fantasy land. If you do not like alphas that are somewhat stalkerish, this is not the book for you.

This is the type of book that I read when I want a small break from the big, lengthy books that leave you emotionally exhausted. This type of book is perfect to recharge and to simply enjoy a story that would probably never happen in real life. You know, the crazy stalker guy that want to get his woman and never let her go. And the slightly naive heroine that falls for her hero and they both live happily ever after. But sadly, I didn’t feel this book or the characters personalities. I really wanted to like this story more but I only got to 24% and had to give up. The whole plot didn’t keep my attention and also the heroines view on life is not what I want from a character that I would love. She’s still searching to fit in the crazy world we llive in and wants to walk her dogs. Also the hero waited for over a year to even speak to her. I know, I know, he wanted everything set into place before he got to actually meet her and I am alright with that but as the story continues, he wants to wait almost another year to mary her and have kids with her. To me that sounds like a lot of waiting and in such short stories I’m used to insta love that has a more fast pace. So to me, this book was a miss. Sadly…
