Book Challenge: A book genre that I don’t read enough! BOOK HOP!!!

So…this challenge is exactly what it sounds like. Basically you pick a few books (your choice of how many) from a book genre that you would never or very rarely want to read and you have till October 1st to finish reading them.

This is also a blog hop. What is a blog hop you ask? Well, basically it’s a very fun and easy way for bloggers to connect and share their posts. For more info you can go to this page. 🙂 Also, this blog hop is hosted by the lovely ladies from Closet Readers

So what genre don’t I read enough? I’m ashamed to say it’s comics. I know, right? What wrong with me, but sadly it’s the truth. So for this month I plan on reading:

Angel Catbird Volume 1 (Graphic Novel) On a dark night, young genetic engineer Strig Feleedus is accidentally mutated by his own experiment and merges with the DNA of a cat and an owl. What follows is a humorous, action-driven, pulp-inspired superhero adventure– with a lot of cat puns.

Buffy: The High School Years - Glutton for Punishment (Buffy: The High School Years, #2)When Buffy and Xander sign up for home ec, assuming it will be an extra-credit cakewalk, they aren’t aware that the teacher is a ravenous tiger demon in disguise. The demon’s unquenchable appetite has him kidnapping his top students and forcing them to cook for him, and when Xander claims some store-bought treats are his own creations, he becomes the demon’s next victim! It’s not enough that Buffy has to keep her grades up, but she also has to rescue her friends and fellow students-and give the tiger demon his just desserts!

Set during Season 1 of the television series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
